G-Star Students Take Top Honors In National Scholastic Arts Competition

Palm Springs, Florida (2/18/2016) ?Students at G-Star School of the Arts for Film, Animation and Performing Arts (www.GStarschool.org) have swept top awards at the National Scholastic Arts Competition outperforming over 15,000 other submissions.

The G-Star students impressed the performing arts world with their stunning string of victories, including winning first place Gold Key and second place Silver Key awards for their artistic submissions.

More than 15,000 students entered their art work in film, animation and photography in which G-Star student Eli Dreyfuss walked away with an unprecedented 14 awards, including seven Gold Key Awards, three Silver Awards, and four Honorable Mention Awards for his Still Photography.

G-Star is the largest film, animation and acting high school in the nation, and the only high school in the world that sits on the back lot of a major motion picture studio, the G-Star Studios. The school currently has 1,100 students in all three disciplines.

G-Star?s Matt Wilson, Noah Engle and Billy Rubeck won the Gold Key Award for their animated professional commercial for a national product titled 911 BOOST. Christian Aguiar won the Silver Key Award in the Film & Animation category for his film AMERICA.

"We are extremely proud of our students for all their dedication and creative work from the heart that they put into this competition,? said Greg Hauptner, the school's Founder and CEO.

?I find it astounding, that this is the third international competition in which Eli Dreyfuss has won with his photography outscoring over 12,000 students. The other win was also out of 15,000 student submissions, which means Eli has finished first three times in direct competition against a combined total of 42,000 students," Hauptner added.
