Grand Lake Chamber of Commerce Hosts Grand Lake Catch & Release Ice Fishing Competition

Grand Lake Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce they are hosting the fifth annual Grand Lake Catch & Release Ice Fishing Competition. This competition is fun for the whole family and is open to everyone. Cost of entry is $40 for ages 15 and older. Children 14 years and younger are free. This event will be held on March 5 and 6, 2016.

Friday night will feature the welcome party where all participants will enjoy the festivities to kick off this entertaining annual competition. Saturday will feature the Fisherman?s Feast. Door prizes will be awarded at each of these events. Throughout the day on Saturday, participants will enjoy a day of ice fishing to see who can catch the biggest and the most fish in three categories: Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout.

To close out the event, there will be an awards ceremony at Pancho & Lefty?s on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. This is where the winners will receive their awards in a number of categories.
