Twilight Homes, the renowned Albuquerque home builder known for innovative design and customer satisfaction, has announced that they are offering homes already built for owners to move in. With this offer, home buyers no longer have to wait for a home to be built, and they also don't have to live in a house that someone else previously owned.

€œThe most obvious difference in buying a move-in ready home is that everything is new, and that includes the flooring, counter tops, roof, doors, and electrical wiring,€ points out Tim McNaney, who heads the Albuquerque home builder firm alongside partners Vinny Pizzonia and Mike Fietz. €œNew means better, and with such a home the owner can be very sure that the floor plan represents the latest concepts and designs and that the materials used are undamaged and environmentally friendly.€

According to [Twilight Homes](http://twilighthomesnm.com), buying a move-in ready home is a good investment, and may actually turn out to be less expensive than buying used. This is especially true with foreclosures.

€œThe problem with foreclosures start with the fact that it's an old home, so of course it will need repairs that new homes don't need,€ explains McNaney. €œBut when the previous owner continues to live in a house after it was foreclosed, they don't spend on repairs since the home is no longer there.€

Some owners of foreclosed homes also become emotional and angry after they lose their home. They may even take it out on their own house.

€œIt's not uncommon for an angry previous owner to damage the home they lost out of anger,€ admits McNaney. €œAnd that can cost the new buyer tens of thousands or more.€

The move-in ready houses offered by Twilight Homes are quite spacious, and yet they have a reasonable list price. For example, a bungalow in Los Lunas measures 2,312 square feet with 3 bedrooms including a large master suite, 2 bathrooms, and a 2-car garage. It's listed for less than $180,000.

The most expensive home they offer is listed at less than $496,000 and it is located in the brand new Aspens community. The 2-story house measures 2,994 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

€œWith a move-in ready home, there are no hidden defects, no damage to any part of the home, and no sign of wear and tear,€ reveals McNaney. €œSo there's no unpleasant addition to the cost of the house and the new owner can budget for the home more easily.€

There's also a sentimental reason for opting for a new house instead of a used home. With a new home, there's no previous history to the place, and the new owners can start fresh. There's no secret or horrific crime that may have occurred in the home before.

€œWith a brand new house, the new owners can start making their own happy memories,€ says McNaney. €œNothing in the house's history can affect their feelings regarding the beauty of their new home.€
