January 15, 2016: Safe Showers has won a major deal to replace the bathtubs in a student hostel. The deal comes in the New Year just at the beginning of Q1 in the current financial year.

Announcing this to the Press the CEO of Safeshowers.com said "We are approved plumbing contractors of the federal government and are also registered as a certified and approved plumbing company with the state of Texas. Therefore when an opportunity arose for tub to shower conversion in the student's hostel, we were obviously the first choice to receive the RFP. Our team reviewed the RFP and we submitted the completed RFP within a week. As part of the qualification process we were invited to make a presentation to the Tender Committee. The Committee found our response technically feasible and most competitive and awarded the tender to us.

As per the specifications of the tender, there are about 160 rooms in the student hostel and out of these approximately 20% need to be replaced. In other words there are about 32 rooms in which the bathtub has to be replaced with a shower and other work also needs to be undertaken. This work has been identified as follows:

- Tub to shower conversion

- Replacement of old tiles in the bathroom with new tiles

- Changing old taps and fittings with new chrome plated and branded ones

- Adding a shower cap

- Putting a new shower tray

The new floor is designed to be no-skid and this will prevent falling or skidding while taking a shower. Also, the shower will have a feature of easy-in and easy-out and this will ensure that users can effortlessly walk-in or out of the shower. In order to make the designs stand out, Safe Showers has planned to use designer tiles that have a universal appeal. The work schedule is spread over 8 weeks and will start in the 3rd week of January.
