Although Old Saint Nick does not arrive until tomorrow, everyone knows that the elves actually make all of the Christmas presents. What most people don?t know is that they also clean windows. Meet the window cleaning elf!

For the whole of December Window Fresh?s elf has been out and about cleaning windows, nimbly scaling ladders to clean gutters, and even making conservatories look brand new all across the Oswestry and Welshpool areas. Have you seen him about?

With Christmas Day now upon us, sadly the window cleaning elf will soon no longer be among us. After December 25th he returns to his regular duties and will be busily making next year?s Christmas presents for all of the good children and adults.

While taking a short break from his busy schedule, the window cleaning elf had a chance to reflect on why he volunteered to become an elf in the first place, and his experiences thus far.

"I've always been a big kid about Christmas. As all my friends and family know, I also love fancy dress, so becoming an elf just seemed to fit. Working here cleaning people?s homes is important. I volunteered for the position as Santa is obviously too busy at the North Pole checking his good and bad lists," explained the window cleaning elf. "Everyone?s reaction has been so wonderful and positive. It is absolutely amazing! Everyone smiles, waves or comments on how festive I look. It's nice to brighten up everyone's day. The adults seem to love it even more than the kids."

When asked about working in the cold, wet weather, the elf answered, ?Yes, the first day was very cold. But the North Pole is much colder than it is here. Plus the thermals really came in handy too.?

And what is happening after Christmas? "Well obviously I will be returning to the North Pole to begin working on next year?s presents. But don't worry, I?ve found a replacement here who will be wearing a normal window cleaning uniform and assuming my duties after I am away.?

Maybe this is actually a real elf, rosy red cheeks and all! One thing is for sure, he has certainly spread the joy of Christmas to all of the locals here.
