Grand Lake Chamber of Commerce Hosts 2016 Grand Lake Winter Festival

The Grand Lake Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2016 Grand Lake Winter Festival will take place on Saturday, January 23, 2015. This event will provide families in the area with plenty of fun activities to enjoy, despite the cold, snowy weather this winter.

The event starts at 9:30 am with a round of Tea Pot Curling on the town ice rink. Events will take place all over the area, including Main Street and the town park. Some the other activities and events for families to enjoy include a snowman contest, snow golf, a parade, king and queen contest, human bowling, snow sculpture contest and much more. The events are scheduled to last throughout the day, ending with the Grand Royal Masquerade at Pancho and Leftys, which is scheduled to run from 8 pm until midnight.

The Winter Festival is held every year in Grand Lake, CO, around the same time. Its a great event for locals and those who are visiting the area on vacation. This years theme is Grand Lake Royalty, and attendees are encouraged to arrive dressed as princes, princesses, frogs, knights, wizards, unicorns and anything else that fits within the theme.
