The International Circle of Masters honors veterans who have served the US Armed Forces of United States. Circle of Masters celebrated 3rd year by inviting masters and grandmasters of different martial arts discipline from around the world to share their knowledge in a benefit for the Awesome Heroes for the veterans that are a non-profit 5013c charitable organization founded by Soke Ron Balas of Beechmont, Ohio. The Circle of Masters benefits Awesome Heroes are hosted by [Soke Ron Balas](http://www.bushido.org/circle/) and [Grandmaster Dennis Janes](http://www.mentorkarate.com) of Mentor, Ohio on October 10 and 11, 2015.
2015 Circle of Master's presenter is some of the finest martial arts Masters and Grand Masters from around the world. The lists are Master Richard Gamboa of Illinois, Grand Master John Barton of Pennsylvania, Grand Master Les Kiersnowski from New Jersey, Shihan Joseph Bove from Ohio, Grand Masters David D' Antonio from Pennsylvania, Grand Master Jacques-Andre Cote from Canada, Sifu Mike LoGrasse from Ohio, Master Trevor Tasetano from Pennsylvania, Master Mike Andrus from Pennsylvania, [Grand Master Manuel Taningco](https://www.facebook.com/mtaningco) from the Ohio, Master Alfredo Torella from Italy, Soke Frank Sanchez from Florida, Grand Master Christopher Francis from Tobago, Soke Mike Bissonnette from Canada, Soke Joe Williams from Florida, Soke Mark Shuey, Grand Master Tom Forman and Master Julie Werhnyak from Arizona.
The event was for two days that was packed by more than 100 participants from local martial arts studios around Cleveland help raise for post-traumatic stress syndrome for the veterans. The event was supported by the American Legion; (www.legion.org) and the Veterans Administration; (www.va.gov) along with Circle of Masters Hall of Fame; The gathering of International Masters and Grand Masters in Beechmont, Ohio. The goal is to provide assistance to the veterans in physical, mental, emotional and spiritual support to empower themselves to achieve a better quality of life for them and their families. The event is part of saying thank you for serving the United States Armed Forces for the belief of "freedom."
Founder of Awesome Heroes Ron Balas is a veteran and a Grand Master of martial arts, who served our country for eight years and fought in the Korean War in 1951-52. Ron's background of martial arts gave him the insight to get some help from many of his colleagues of martial arts instructors. Many martial arts instructors also have served in the US Armed Forces including Grand Masters Mark Shuey and Tom Forman.
One of the guest seminar presenter [Grand Masters is Manuel Taningco](http://www.tamamartialarts.com), who has been involved in martial arts for over 52 years of his life. Grand Master Taningco has been teaching martial arts in Ohio for 39 consecutive years. Grand Master Taningco was invited personally by the founder Soke Ron Balas and Grand Master Dennis Jaynes for the second year in a row. Grand Master Manuel Taningco was also inducted in Circle of Masters Hall of Fame.
The [International Circle of Masters](http://www.bushido.org/circle/) seminars honors veterans presents some of the finest martial arts Masters and Grand Masters from around the world. All are welcome to learn with the masters about their styles, experiences, philosophies, tactics and their unique approach to teaching the martial arts. The two days of martial arts seminars with 15 International Masters of the Martial arts from around the world. From Jiujitsu, Karate, Combat Self Defense, Filipino Kali, and much much more.
It is fitting to put these two together a martial art seminar extravaganza, martial arts half of fame and fundraising for Awesome Heroes program.
