Bhubaneswar, India ? October 27, 2015 ? The Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF) organized a Rural Health Camp under the Project ?Arogya Dhara? at the Patitapaban High School, Pimpudia, Sukinda Block of Jajpur district. BIPF has been organizing rural health camps on a periodic basis for the people who dwell in the remote hinterlands and deprived for dispensaries and any kind of medical facilities.

BIPF, the CSIR arm of the IMFA group has taken up various major steps and contributed towards improvement of the people suffering in rural areas. Healthcare is one of the prominent areas where the organization truly focuses on implementation using the fund resources. Common people?s health conditions in the villages are vulnerable due to the pollution created from Chromites mines and susceptible to various diseases.

Over 400 villagers visited the health camp and were examined by the Doctors for different kinds of illnesses. Besides diagnosis, the patients were also offered medicines for free-of-cost and given health advice. Moreover, patients were referred to district/block health centers for complicated cases. BIPF has voluntarily taken several preventive measures to protect the villagers such as the all-encompassing program of Project UNNATI with a focus to address the maternal and child health along with other important issues like women literacy improvement and their empowerment.

The organization mainly believes in the motive of bringing the downtrodden and deprived societies to bring into the mainstream, whether it refers to health, education or skill development. The statistical figures have improved significantly with the key initiatives undertaken by the organization and continue to develop on a higher scale. CSR activities headed by the CEO of BIPF, Ms. Shaifalika Panda have flourished with greater results and are intended to progress higher in the future.
