Safeshowers.com announces Joint Venture with the local Cities Council of the State of Texas.

October 16, 2015: Safeshowers.com has announced formation of a new joint venture between Safeshowers.com them and the local Cities Council of Texas to conduct an inspection of old age homes in the city of Austin in order to determine whether there are any old age homes that require tub to shower conversion.

Announcing this to the Press the CEO of Safeshowers.com said "We see this Joint Venture as a strategic step in providing quality service to the elderly people and improving their quality of life. Old age homes are typical places where the elderly are likely to get hurt as they are liable to have accidents or a fall either when they are getting into a bathtub or stepping out of a bathtub.

As per industry sources old age homes in different cities in the state of Texas were built more than two decades ago and are today in dire need of modernization especially renovation of the bathrooms is an area that requires immediate attention. Data gathered from reliable sources in the industry reveals that although there were adequate provisions made in the federal budget for social security initiatives in the current fiscal year, government spending has not been substantial. This could partly be attributed to the fact that till now, no proper or comprehensive audit of old age homes has been carried out and this Joint Venture is a small step in that direction.

Data from the local county office indicates that there are about 9700 old age homes in different cities in the state of Texas and out of these almost 85% require tub to shower conversion. This means that approximately 8200 odd showers will be required to be replaced in the old age homes. Safeshowers.com has done a preliminary assessment of this requirement and is confident to service it over the next few months.

The CEO of Safeshowers.com further said ?Looking at the size of the project, we understand that we are not in a position to do it on our own. That is why the entire project would be broken down into smaller chunks and this work would then be shared between plumbing companies that are similar to Safeshowers.com. However, as the project is for the federal government and is time bound, we will ensure that it is completed in the period of 12 months.?

Safeshowers.com will first start with the city of Austin and will carry out the renovation work beginning with the oldest old age home located in the city.
