India?s leading FMCG brand Britannia hosted their Annual Conference in New Delhi. From a company launched with a pocket-size investment of few hundred rupees to being accorded the status of a Superbrand, Britannia has come a long way and crossed many milestones throughout their illustrious journey. The brief was to plan and execute a well-designed conference which would convey the achievements and vision of the company

Kestone was in charge of designing the concept, communication collaterals, set design and technical setup; stay, travel and logistics co-ordination. In order to do justice to the grand nature of the event we planned and executed the three day conference for about 200 Britannians in ITC Bharat, Gurgaon, a majestic one-of-a-kind destination luxury retreat. We aimed to encourage, enthuse and give the participants an opportunity to celebrate their achievements in a larger than life setting.

With an objective of inspiring the employees, the theme of this conference was ?Aspire Beyond?. The thought behind this theme stemmed from the fact that Britannia is already the leader in the market. To sustain this leadership they have to go beyond their own expectations and set higher benchmarks of performance. This was also an opportunity to show the employees the future roadmap for each of the brands.

Kestone planned the agenda for the conference in a manner which established the theme through the three days. In sync with the grandeur of the venue, delegates were welcomed as conquerors in true princely fashion with bugles, trumpets and guards. The conference branding was done in strong sport visuals to depict the essence of Aspire Beyond. Cheerleaders ushered the guests into the conference arena. A high energy AV which culminated in the reveal of the event logo set the mood for this vibrant and enriching conference. Prominent industry speakers interacted and engaged with the employees, motivating them with insightful stories and conversations. Presentations from the leadership team were followed by a high adrenalin drum jam session. The evening ended on a high beat of fun and networking.

Taking forward the theme of high performance we started off day 2 with a team-building activity requiring the highest level of teamwork to custom brand and race karts to a podium finish. The activity highlighted their team spirit while simultaneously bringing out the strategists and inner child within each delegate.

The highlight of the day was the Britannia Pavilion ? a walk-through of Britannia?s achievements and future plans. Each stall had an experiential activity designed uniquely for that specific showcase. The pavilion highlighted Britannia?s illustrious brand associations, had engaging games for the guests to unwind, a photo booth to celebrate their presence, digital kiosks to set the roadmap for the future and even a bread and cheese innovations food tasting counter. The objective was to create a holistic experiential zone to encompass the milestones of brand Britannia.

The theme for the Gala dinner was Fusion. The set-up was a recreation of the popular Chandni Chowk street in Delhi. Stall games, astrologers, magicians, bangle makers intrigued and entertained the delegates in the early part of the evening. The performances began with a skit by the employees and a dance by the leadership team. Kestone conceptualized and choreographed these performances, which was a huge hit with the guests. The awards were followed by an act by Desi Roots. True to the theme they mesmerized the audience with their rendition of Bollywood songs which were seeped in contemporary as well as traditional sounds. The fusion mixes of the DJ ensured the party went on till late into the night.

Optional activities like golf and adventure sports were built into the plan to give delegates time off yet living the theme in a casual and fun manner on the final day.

The Annual Conference saw a balance of stimulating discussions, laidback fun and power-packed activities. It was successful in celebrating the legacy of Britannia and everything it stands for, establishing a feeling of pride and sense of achievement in every Britannian in attendance.
