Evolutionbusiness.ca wins a contract to design and develop the eCommerce portal of a large travel agency based in Nanaimo.

August 25, 2015: The sustained sales and marketing efforts of Evolutionbusiness.ca have finally paid off. As a direct result of its participation in the IT EXPO SA EXHIBITION, Evolutionbusiness.ca has won a contract to develop the eCommerce portal of a leading travel agency of Johannesburg.

Speaking on the occasion the CEO of Evolutionbusiness.ca Mr. Chris Cathers said ?We had received a large number of enquiries at the IT EXPO SA EXHIBITION. Some of them were general enquiries but a few of them were very hot leads. Our sales team pursued the hot leads meticulously and engaged in deep discussions with them. One of these related to the travel agency. They had issued an RFP and we were expected to provide a Scope of Work (SOW), a Proof of Concept (POC) and a Rate Matrix of the standard monthly rates of our developers, testers, web designers and project managers. Our team responded positively to the RFP positively and Evolutionbusiness.ca got shortlisted as one of the 3 probable vendors. Finally after a round of intense negotiations, the contract was awarded to us.?

As per company sources although the travel agency in Nanaimo is a start- up it is one of the fastest growing travel agencies in the region and has achieved phenomenal success over the last few months. Industry experts have dubbed the travel agency as a success story and listed it t be amongst the top 50 companies to watch out for.

The CEO further said "While the agency does have an existing website, it is not sufficient enough to meet their growing requirements. We audited their website and found many shortcomings in it. For example their shopping cart system is outdated and there are glitches in the PayPal integration. Secondly, we also found bugs in the user registration module. Thirdly, the web design is not responsive and not mobile friendly. Fourthly the website does not have a Google Analytics account. As a result there was no way to capture intelligent analytics from the Google Analytics report. Also we found that the website is not optimized from SEO perspective. While the travel agency did have a dedicated webmaster to look after the day to day maintenance of the site, there was no search engine optimization team responsible to do SEO activities on a continuous basis.?

As part of the contract Evolutionbusiness.ca will build the new eCommerce portal using Magento technology and will integrate a comprehensive content marketing strategy in the portal so that it gets ahead of the competition and is able to sustain its position in the market.
