A permanent sustainability aid provider working in the Philippines just launched a drive for donations to help disaster victims and people at risk in the Philippines to help them to create permanent, sustainable systems that can provide most or all of their needs for food water and shelter indefinitely.

More information is available at http://greenwarriorpermacultureaid.org/get-involved/.

Permaculture design is now being widely recognised world wide as a practical solution requiring minimum inputs to help people in areas at risk of famines, drought or other natural disasters to become resilient and self sufficient even in the most harsh environments.

Permaculture designers have succeeded in helping local populations provide the needs of food, water and shelter in climates as unforgiving as the Jordan desert to the difficult environment of tropical rainforests to land that is overgrazed with dead soil and a whole range of other extreme situations.

In the Philippines permaculture designer Steve Cran has worked on the ground for many years with minimal budget to help locals who have suffered a series of natural disasters from recent typhoons and flooding in the region. Cran focuses on giving locals the training they need to provide all their needs themselves using only the resources available locally.

Cran's Green Warrior Permaculture Aid training programs have been highly successful, helping to take people who are at high risk of hunger and malnutrition to the point where they can live sustainably using just the resources at hand in their local area. These people are also being trained to help to train others in their local communities and surrounding areas.

Cran has just launched a funding drive looking for people willing to donate to Green Warrior Permaculture Aid's activities in the Philippines. All the money donated to this aid provider goes directly to help people on the ground. Most is used to purchase tools and to facilitate training in various different ways.

There are no administration cuts and no overheads so people kind enough to donate know that every cent is going straight the the projects that desperately need funding. People who donate over 250 US dollars receive a personal project report with photographs of what their donation has achieved in the field.
