Virender Sehwag, Shah Rukh Khan Joins the #SaluteSelfie Movement

India?s Independence Day has always been celebrated with a mixture of joy and pride. With only a few more days left before the 69th Independence Day, thousands of people have already paid their tribute to the Indian Armed Forces who put our lives before theirs and guard the nation selflessly. While none other than Mr. Amitabh Bachchan marked the beginning of the #SaluteSelfie campaign that was recently started on Twitter by the Reliance Group, others immediately followed suit.

Other distinguished personalities who posted their #SaluteSelfie include Shahid Kapoor, Benny Dayal, Rishi Kapoor, etc. And with the spirit of patriotism that shines bright in the sports world, how can the eminent sports personalities fail to join the movement? Indian cricketers such as Virender Sehwag and Shanthakumaran Sreesanth posted their selfies in which they are solemnly saluting the efforts of the Indian soldiers. Saina Nehwal too saluted the real heroes of our country with her #SaluteSelfie.
