New York, NY, May 6, 2019—The year 1951 was one to remember when 12 bombings targeting black Americans, Catholics, and Jews in "Jim Crow" Florida, went off where Harry T. Moore and his wife, Harriette, were murdered on Christmas night by racist terrorists.
The book reveals new information and hidden facts that investigators including the FBI, Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Brevard County Sheriff's Office missed. What’s been uncovered in The Bomb Heard Around the World (www.TheBombHeardAroundTheWorld.com) will be in the documentary that is simultaneously in preproduction.
“Our historic and profound quest for civil and human rights for all of mankind was one tragedy after another,” said Gregory Marquette, Author and Director, The Bomb Heard Around The World.“
“These historic events shape who we are today as a nation that strives to conquer the generations that breed hate and prejudice and keep the movements of human equality forward and foremost,” added Marquette.
It was a time of disheartening racism, murders, lynching’s, police corruption and controversial crime investigations when former Attorney General, Charlie Crist, led this criminal case to solve the unprecedented assassinations of Harry T. and Harriette V. Moore.
The book has been long awaited and Drapher ‘Skip’ Pagan, Grandson of Harry T. Moore, was among the first to recognize the passion Mr. Marquette and Top Cat II Production Publishing Group in getting the story out.
