Us4slush Now Provides Retailers With Twenty Different Slush Flavours!

Leading UK slush manufacturers Us 4 Slush Limited is now providing retailers with no less than 20 different slush flavours to offer their customers. Some three and half years ago they moved to brand new premises in Sturminster Marshall, Poole, Dorset and invested in a fully automated production line which now produces over 600 x 5 litre bottles of Sir-Lush syrup every hour.

Managing Director David Fish said: ?Most slush providers in the UK only supply three or four different flavours of slush syrup ? usually the best-selling blue raspberry and strawberry, plus a couple of others. We have expanded our range so that our customers can test different flavours to see what else sells well in their area. So, if they have a 3-bowl slush machine they could have blue raspberry and strawberry available, and then test other flavours in the third bowl. So in some areas you might find that cherry or lemon and lime sells better than strawberry, for instance, and we are always keen to help our retailers make the most profit that they can from selling slush.?

Fish also claims that the profits retailers can make on his Sir-Lush syrups outstrip that of any other brand when sold at the Us4slush recommended prices. A 5-litre bottle of syrup costs less than ?12 even when purchased in the smallest quantity of four bottles and the return is ?120, whichever size of slush cup is favoured.

One of the big benefits of having a slush machine in a retail outlet is that it sits there quietly making impulse sales with no input from the owner of the shop. The only requirement is that the machine must be cleaned once a week which is a job which takes about ten minutes. Other than that, it is just a case of filling up the bowls when they run empty. All that is needed is to dilute the syrup with one part of syrup to six of water. The company supplies a measure for this purpose, but it is easy to make one using an empty Sir-Lush bottle.

Us4slush is also keen to protect the environment whenever possible and is the first slush supplier to provide PLA spoon straws in place of the plastic straws which are due to be banned. The PLA spoon straws come in a range of colours and are made of biodegradable material such as corn starch, although they look and feel exactly like plastic. In addition, the company supplies ordinary straws ? without the spoon end ? which are made from cardboard in a choice of candy-stripe colours. These are robust enough to slurp a slush without the walls breaking down and are, of course, compostable also.
