Dr. Vieira earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Florida, College of Medicine, a Master of Science in Management and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology.

Throughout her career, Dr. Vieira has worked in hospitals and clinics conducting ground-breaking clinical research with patients. She has researched the biochemistry and molecular biology of humans, animals and microorganisms that involved both human and mouse stem cells.
