Opened recently, Porters serve delicious smoked BBQ and charbroiled steaks, over 60 salads and a daily buffet that offers Mexican, German, Italian and Texas-style foods. Complimenting these foods is a selection of craft beers are available, such as Deschutes Wonderland Larger, Stone Delicious IPA, Oskar Blues Dales Pale Ales, and Left Hand Breweries Milk Stout.

Having a country-western theme, locally owned and operated Porters prides itself on offering guests high-quality chicken, pork and beef dishes and exceptional customer service. Serving modern cuisine such as house-smoked baby back ribs, southern fried chicken and deep fried catfish, as well as Mexican red and green chile, corn on the cob and charbroiled steaks, Porters caters to everyone's palette.

Apart from having an extensive menu, Porters can also accommodate larger groups and even parties in their party and banquet space, and offer catering for parties hosted elsewhere. The restaurant has also undergone a facelift with new flooring, paint and lighting, as well as decorative work, making it ideal for any celebration.

Having lived in the area for many years the owners of Porters, Mike and Christi Ulrich, want to retain that good old-fashioned feel and ambience to the restaurant. As such, theyve introduced Sunday dinners to the menu, which include a traditional Sunday roast and incorporate chefs specialities.

When asked about the changes made to the restaurant, owner Christi Ulrich said,It's upscale-country. We kept the cowboy theme, but the dcor is a little more polished, with a modern twist. Plus, we also have our own smoker, and we're roasting our meats in different woods.
