Future Electronics was founded in Montreal in 1968 by company President Robert Miller
. It began its international expansion in 1972, opening its first American office in Boston.
The Paris office first opened its doors in 1994 in a suburb south of the city, with easy access to downtown Paris and the main highways. Today, the office is located in Vélizy-Villacoublay, about 16 kilometers from Versailles. The area is home to aeronautics, transportation, automotive, telecom, medical, and software companies including Thales, Dassault, Oracle, Carmat and Alcatel-Lucent.
