A Critical Cardiac Patient Safely Transferred by Lifeline Air Ambulance in Kolkata

A serious cardiac patient who needed an immediate open heart surgery transferred by our Air Ambulance in Kolkata last month. It was a remarkable and memorable patient evacuation for us that compelled us to share it with everyone. On a nocturnal hour of the month of January, we got a call requesting us to transfer a critical patient shifted in a reputed local hospital in the city. It was necessary for us to take health report of the patient in order to prepare a transportation plan. To do so we rushed a ground ambulance team to the local hospital where the patient was admitted in the emergency ward. The board of Doctors had referred him to Mumbai for availing an immediate cardiac surgery. Without making any delay we picked the patient and moved to the Air Ambulance waiting on NetajiSubhash Chandra Bose International Airport. In a short interval of time, we were able to shift the patient in the Air Ambulance in Kolkata which flew for Mumbai soon.
In the meanwhile, we acknowledged that the patient was losing heartbeat and our medic team came into action. With all these efforts we were able to safely transfer the patient to a well-known hospital in Mumbai where he got his surgery done. A few days ago we got an acknowledgment from the spouse of the patient we had transferred that her husband is getting recovering fast.
