‘Career Charcha’ – a career counseling session was organized by Medha in association with NCS at Brahmanand College, Kanpur

Kanpur ? ?Career Charcha? a career counseling session was jointly organized by Medha and the National Career Service (NCS) at Brahmanand College, Kanpur. The interactive session focused on increasing awareness of different career paths and fields of study for students after they graduate. Individual counseling sessions were also conducted to answer students? specific questions regarding higher studies and career options. Over a 100 B.Com and B.SC students from Brahmanand College attended Career Charcha.

Mrs. Shivani Sharma, Young Professional from the National Career Service (NCS), Mr. Saqib Atique and Mrs. Smriti Singh the facilitators from Medha, and professional counselors conducted the Career Charcha. They covered diverse career options such as Lecturer, Scientific Officer, Scientist, and Gio-Scientist, as well as opportunities in Management, Banking, and Insurance.

A non-profit based out of Lucknow, Medha better prepares youth for life after school. They provide 21st-century skills training, career counseling and workplace exposure, and ongoing job placement and alumni support to students at their existing educational institution. Medha has recently completed its first Career Advancement Bootcamp (CAB) at Brahmanand College. The session was organized with the support of Principal Dr. Vivek Kumar Dwivedi and under the guidance of coordinator Dr. Katiyar.
