OPM Icon Hajji Alejandro Celebrates 45th Year In the Industry at Solaire

Entertainment City, Para?aque ? Take a trip down memory lane with Hajji Alejandro, as the OPM icon takes the stage of The Theatre at Solaire to celebrate four decades and a half of making romantic melodies.

Powerhouse IV: Hajji ? Ako At Ang Aking Musika marks the 45th anniversary of the ?Kilabot ng Kolehiyala? in the industry. His biggest concert to date is set to happen on June 23, 2018 (Saturday) at 8 p.m.

Joining Hajji on stage are his daughter, singer Rachel Alejandro, and friends, fellow hitmaker Marco Sison, songwriter Rey Valera, and singer-actress Celeste Legaspi.

Hajji Alejandro broke out into the scene in the 1970s, first as a member of the pop group Circus Band, and eventually, as a solo performer.

Some of Hajji?s memorable hits include ?Tag-Araw, Tag-Ulan,? "Nakapagtataka," and "Panakip Butas"?all of which earned him the admiration and squeals of teenage girls all over the country.

However, it was the song ?Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika,? written for Hajji by the prolific musician Ryan Cayabyab, that took his career into new heights. The song went on to win the grand prize of the first-ever Metro Manila Pop Music Festival, as well as the first International Seoul Song Festival in Korea.
