Europa Calling Festivals to be organised at Growel\'s 101 Mall

Not many in India have witnessed a Can-Can, Flamenco or Antre dance performance. These famous European dance forms reflect the rich culture and traditions of Europe. Here?s a chance to experience the colorful culture of the land with scintillating dance performances like Latino, Antre, French Can-Can, Flamenco, Latino, Salsa and Samba performed by dancers from Europe in the ?Europa Calling? event at Growel?s 101 mall from 11th to 27th May on weekends from 5pm to 8pm.

That?s not all. Since a mention of the continent?s culture inevitably brings to mind its gastronomic delights, the mall will also have workshops on European delicacies. Gourmets and cooking enthusiasts can learn from experts as they conduct workshops on preparing the best Tiramisu, a Classic Italian Dessert and Italian Pasta in a traditional Italian way along with Mocktails to quench the Summer thirst.

As part of the extravaganza, there will be an array of exciting workshops with European Essence like Venetian Mask - making, Monalisa Portrait Sketching, Eiffel Tower Paper Art, Europe Monuments making by clay and Rock paintings which are an inseparable part of street art in Europe. All dance enthusiasts are in for a treat from Urban Contemporary and Hip-Hop dance experts to learn this dance form which is a combination of popping, waving and breaking with modern dance, martial arts and occasionally swing.

There are photo opportunities galore too. For those who want to experience a glimpse of Europe right here in Mumbai, all they have to do is head to Growel?s 101 mall and pose with the miniature installations of prominent European Monuments like Eiffel tower, Colosseum, St. Basil?s Cathedral, London Bridge, Big Ben, Leaning Tower and Wind Mill.

Weekends will also witness entertainment by character artistes dressed up as the epic Gladiator, the Queen?s Guards, Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland and living Statues.
