Actor Amol Parashar to turn into a writer with an upcoming series on Viu

​The rising star of the digital space, Amol Parashar is back with yet another exciting series and this time he will be sharing the screen space with the extremely talented Aahana Kumra on Viu- OTT service platform. While it is known that he is a brilliant actor with a theatre background, not many people know that Amol has a keen inclination towards writing as well. Amol who will be seen in Lakshya Raj Anand's upcoming It Happened in Hong Kong, has also written the dialogues for the series along with his director. Produced by Viu, the upcoming series is 4 episode series which revolves around the two characters Amol and Aahana.

On playing the lead in a series where he has also written the dialogues for, Amol commented, "When we were reading the first drafts of the series, Lakshya, Aahana and I felt that it was a sweet story but there was scope to make the conversations between the two characters more organic. I offered to give it a shot. To be honest, with the story being so contemporary and relatable, writing the dialogues became a very spontaneous process. Thankfully, Lakshya and Aahana enjoyed and related to what I wrote - which meant that our purpose had been achieved."
