12 students selected in campus drive at ACET at salary package OF 2.59 lakh per annum

Conforming to the general trend of rising recruitment activities in the country owing to increased economic. Upturn, campus placements are significantly on the up in the Amritsar College of Engineering & Technology, ACET this year as compared to the recession hit previous year.

India?s one of the most renowned local search companies Just Dial visited Best Engineering College in Punjab, ACET for hiring MBA and B.Com students. Twelve students were selected by the company at an annual salary package of Rs. 2.59 Lacs.

The drive began After giving a detailed presentation to the students on the company profile, job specifications, remuneration details and fielding the questions from the prospective candidates, they proceeded with their selection process .150 students appeared for an offline test conducted by Just Dial.
The student will be required to shift to different places in Punjab in order to work at the company?s various offices all across Punjab. Their job profile includes Telemarketing and Process Associate.

Justdial is an Indian based company founded by Mr.Venkatachalam Sthanu Subramani Mani (V.S.S. Mani) It provides search services and is made available on Website and Mobile. The compensation levels offered to students has gone up nearly by 30% this year. So far approximately 30% of the final year students have been placed.

The Training & Placement department at ACET facilities the process of placement of students passing out from the institute besides collaborating with leading organizations and institutes in setting up of internship and training program of students.

Our Department liaises with various industrial establishments, corporate houses etc. which conduct campus interviews and select graduate and post-graduate students from all disciplines. The Training & Placement Office provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests and interviews besides catering to other logistics. The Office interacts with many industries in the country to place our students at a appropriate place.

?Of the 500 eligible students, 384 have been placed in various companies. We are hoping that the institute will achieve 100 per cent placement this season. The improvement is largely because of the students? merit and the teachers? contribution,? Chairman said.
