Kobe was born in Albania and as a youth, began to discover and develop his abilities in art. He knew he wanted to be an artist by the age of 13 and devoted his life to art. He made it his personal goal to get into one of the finest art high schools in Albania. He participated in art competitions on a local and national level and eventually landed a highly coveted spot at the ?National Lyceum of Arts,? located in Tirana. Kobe graduated in 1988 with a diploma in scenography and painting.

His background and education in art gave Kobe the foundation he needed to find his own language and style. He emerged as an artist adept at creating paintings pulsating with light and energy. In the years following, Kobe relocated to New York where his style became bolder. A highly prolific painter, he works on his paintings for hours daily and continues to develop, continuing to seek and experiment.
