The Great Game treasure hunts provide unique experiences in cities across the UK; can you solve the clues to find the treasure? The treasure is a great pub at which you can receive 20% off your total food and drink bill.

Perfect for Cambridge days out the hunt starts from the train station and winds through the city taking in all of the major sights. Even if you think you know the city it takes you down many a mysterious alleyway so you are sure to explore somewhere new! The route lasts 2-3 miles taking between 2-3 hours so you can fit it in as a morning or afternoon activity on your Cambridge day out.

The treasure hunt pack consists of a clues sheet, treasure map, compass, clipboard and a prize envelope (only to be opened at the treasure pub and contains instructions on how to redeem your discount, pub and local area history and some final brain teasers to enjoy over some great food and drink!). How Does It Work?

Each detective must follow the clues in order which will lead you around the city and to the treasure. The clues consist of codes, puzzles, riddles and orienteering work. They vary in difficulty so persons of all ages and abilities can enjoy the hunt and get stuck in on their Cambridge day out.

Of course no treasure map would be complete without an X to mark where the treasure is hidden. The Great Game has a unique Cobebreaker section which if completed successfully will inform the user where to plant the X on the map and find the treasure! This section consists of 5 photos each of which are dotted somewhere along the route, on each of these photos a number or letter is hidden behind a white box. You must locate these photos and write down the hidden letter or number, these are then used as four grid references to draw and X on the map. Once done just make your way to the X and the pub waiting to welcome you!
