In Mexico there are about 100,000 villages "uncovered" or without access to telecommunications, as private companies operating in the country can?t go to these places for the cost it represents, revealed in an interview the manager of Business Development of the Indian company "Omoco" (Open Mobile Communication), Sandeep Kohli, who said that his company has held meetings with officials and businessmen to provide a technology with a view to solving that problem.

The number of 100K villages without telecommunications, ?is the information we have, we have gathered in lots of meetings with the SCT (Secretariat of Communications and Transportation) and various organizations,? he pointed out during the discussion of the management with the reporter El Sol de Mexico.
