For the 4th consecutive year, Laurent A. Voivenel, Senior Vice President, Operations and Development for the Middle East, Africa and India, Swiss-Belhotel International, has been ranked among the top 25 hoteliers in the MENA hospitality industry by Hotelier Middle East. The annual Hotelier Power 50 list recognises and celebrates the region?s 50 most influential hotel professionals.

Expressing his delight on this superb achievement, Laurent stated, ?It is wonderful to be recognised by the region?s most prestigious and reliable trade publication. It is a great resource for our industry providing key industry insights and business trends. With more than 32 years of experience, including 17 in the Middle East, Laurent is focused on accelerating the growth of Swiss-Belhotel International in the region.

Elaborating on the company?s expansion in the region, Laurent said, ?We have identified the Middle East, Africa and India as the key growth markets for us and have got an aggressive expansion strategy that is aimed at giving more choice to our guests with new destinations and products. Currently we have more than 3500 rooms under development in high-growth markets in the Middle East such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Egypt and Bahrain in addition to our existing hotels. Given our strong regional experience and international expertise we are ideally placed to meet the varied expectations of these markets.?
