eBook unveils the three Es of positive team culture

Creating a positive team culture at work requires education, engagement and the right environment, according to Dwain Richardson, author of newly released eBook ‘How to create a positive team culture for success!’.

“Education, engagement and environment are the three Es of a positive team culture which the eBook focuses on,” said Richardson, an industry leader in team culture, team building and team training.

“Education is about how to incorporate ongoing training and development of staff for improved performance and culture,” he said.

“Engagement is about how to get staff involved and invested in the team they are in.

“Environment is about how to set up the workplace as one of positivity, fun, inspiration and productivity.”

Richardson said he designed the eBook to be a simple reference tool for anyone within a business or team to use and apply.

“We live and work in an increasingly busy and cluttered world and there are endless amounts of content and material to be found on any one topic,” he said.

“The beauty of the eBook is that it’s short, it’s simple and it’s to the point.

“Each chapter provides the ‘nuts and bolts’ of how to create a positive team culture for success – some simple strategies that you can implement straight away to get you on the path to creating success for your organisation.”

The eBook is based on the theory that a positive team culture is vital for business success.

It provides readers with 45 tips on how to create and practice a positive culture in the workplace split into three main chapters – education, engagement and environment.

Richardson was inspired to write the eBook from the numerous enquiries he and his company have received over the years to solve a team culture issue.

“In my many years as a team building facilitator, my team and I have fielded numerous enquiries from organisations after two or three hour team building exercisesto solve a culture problem,” said Richardson.

“I started to realise that the answer to ‘why’ they didn't have a positive culture was quite simple.

“They didn't know where to start and were too caught up in their day-to-day grind, that they made little time or commitment to improve team culture.

“It is important to understand that changing culture is like weight loss. There is no quick fix.

“It requires time, it requires commitment, it requires vision, it requires passion and it requires constant attention!”

The release of ‘How to create a positive team culture for success!’ has coincided with Workplace Culture Month, which Richardson’s team at Corporate Challenge Events established to put the spotlight on the importance of culture in all organisations and what can be done to improve it in all team environments.
