Indana launches a wide range of Flange Guards

Indana is pleased to announce the launch of Flange Guards for oil & chemical industries. A total of four variety of flange guards have been introduced in the market.

Every year, hundreds of flange related accidents takes place. Failure of flange leads to spray-outs of hot liquids on the employees working in the factories. This causes a lot of death. Cheap shield available in the market were not fit to do the job. This inspired Indana to make a solid safety product that was capable of protecting the hard working work force near these flanges in oil & chemical industries.

Shield Material:

Flange Guards are made from 5 Different Material depending on the use namely PP Flange Guards, HDPE Flange Guards , PTFE Flange Guards, ECTFE Flange Guards, SS Flange Guards.

!) PP & HDPE Flange Guards are UV resistant & are used in medical & food processing industries. These are cost effective & are easy to reinstall. These safety shield are transparent in nature.

2) PTFE & ECTFE Spray Shield are Teflon coated shield and can withstand strong chemical proximity & heat Proximity. These are available for various sizes of flanges- both standard & Custom.

3)SS316 Shields are the most hard shields. These are used for very high temperature & pressure. These shields have wired mesh as a additional protection.

The CEO of INDANA STEEL PVT LTD said that it was very challenging to come up with a design that was different from the cheap flange guards available in the market. It was also a proud moment for him to make such a shield which companies like Tata are purchasing.
