Open Minds- A Birla School sweeps all the three places in Carroms U-12 Category

Hyderabad, January 5, 2017: The sun rose at Open Minds on the 5th of January to witness participants from various competing schools, some of whom had arrived to play the semifinals while others for their maiden events, warming up and practicing to perfect their best moves.

The events began with the coaches giving the players final instructions and sips of motivations.
The students then dispersed to their respective venues for the games. Football, Basketball, Tennis, Kabaddi, Kho-kho, shotput, long jump, high jump, track events, chess, carom and table tennis were the games played on the second day. The players playing for the semifinals learned the strengths and weaknesses of their opponents from the matches played on the previous day. The events were fun and filled with excitement with cheers echoing all around.

In Carrom in U-12 Boys category, Kanishka Choudary from Open Minds won the 1st place , 2nd and 3rd places were taken by Shishir Reddy and Akshan Golla from Open Minds respectively

In Chess in U-16 Boys category, Karan Bardhan from Glendale School won the first place, while Monish Reddy from Glendale got 2nd place and the 3rd place was taken by Choi Kang from Meridian School.

In Carrom in U-12 Boys category, Kanishka Choudary from Open Minds won the first place , 2nd and 3rd places were taken by Shishir Reddy and Akshan Golla from Open Minds respectively.

In Football in U-16 Boys category, Oakridge won, while Glendale Academy got 2nd place.
In Kho Kho Boys category, Obul Reddy won, while CGR got 2nd place.
