A new dog photography book has been announced called Shoot The Dog, which will publish some of the cutest and goofiest dogs of all breeds across Australia. It is being published to showcase pets in a high quality, beautifully designed hard cover coffee table book to help illustrate how dogs can be family members.

The site explains that one of the most important features of the book is that it proudly supports working pet rescue groups who provide shelter for animals in distress. These outfits have systems in place to find homes for displaced dogs throughout the whole of Australia, and Shoot The Dog takes pride in supporting them.

In this regard, the goal of the company is to raise over $20,000 for selected pet rescue groups through the fees dog owners pay upon the successful application of their dog for the showcase. This participation fee is transferred to animal rescue groups across Australia.

Every dog featured in the book will get a full page area where they can strut and show their moves, and books will be available to purchase for $150 each. Interested parties are urged to register their interest as soon as possible, because entries accepted from Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney are limited to a set number.

People wanting to apply so that their pets can be included in the project are encouraged to register on the free registration page, where they can fill in their own details and the details of their pets.

Shoot The Dog will then email the family within five working days to discuss the application and get to know more about the pets.
