Donata Kalnenaite has faced a whirlwind and huge obstacles to get to where she is today. She was born in Lithuania and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 12 as a generation zero immigrant.

From the very beginning, she had to face a lot of hardships while growing up. Her parents left her to grow with her grandparents when she was only about a month old. Later when she came to the U.S., she lived with her mother in New Jersey and then with her father on the south side of Chicago. It was particularly difficult for her to get education as her parents highly discouraged her from doing so. She was even yelled at by her parents when she used to read. Living in a highly toxic environment with her father made her childhood pretty difficult. However, she had strong will power and she used such difficulties as motivation to complete her education and get herself out of such a problematic life.

Donata Kalnenaite completed her undergraduate studies from Saint Xavier University when she was 19. She then completed her law education at The John Marshall Law School at the age of 22. Donata Kalnenaite always had a strong fighting spirit and she believed in the philosophy of never surrendering to life?s challenges. She has trigeminal neuralgia, one of the most painful diseases known to man. However, even then she pushed hard through the pain to become a successful lawyer and put an end to her cycle of poverty. After moving out of her father's house, she worked as a COO of a well-known software development firm where she handled everything from accounting to technical project management. Being a female in a male dominated field was difficult for her, but even then her efforts brought her the success she rightly deserved. After successfully managing the sale of the software development firm, she took all that she learned about the field and founded Agency Attorneys.
