Bordentown Jaguars 04 Won The Prestigeous EDP FC Copa Cup 2016

Top-ranked youth soccer clubs from New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania gathered in Bordentown, New Jersey this past weekend to battle for the Eastern Development Program's (EDP) FC Copa Cup 2016. Players, coaches, families and friends of 76 participating teams flocked to appropriately named Friendship Fields in Bordentown as well as the fields of Mercer County Park to vie for the right to raise the cup for their respective age division. On early Sunday evening, after each team had competed in four games, hometown girls the [Bordentown Jaguars 04](http://www.bcsajaguars.com/) won the U13 division and were able to raise that cup high.
Undefeated in the tournament, the Jaguars only allowed one goal to be scored against them while netting six of their own. The recently reorganized Jaguars looked unaffected by recent age regulation changes in youth soccer, playing solidly under Head Coach Charles Blain and Assistant Coach Brad Daniels. The Jaguars were coming off another solid performance, winning the 2016 Harrison SC Kickoff Classic in Mullica Hill, New Jersey just last weekend. Coach Blain wanted to test his team by competing with those at the EDP level and, judging by the smile on his face when he raised the Copa Cup, his Jaguars passed with flying colors.
The team is composed of Ava Daniels, Danyela Jones, Georgia Boberg, Grace Hoffman, Jillian Giori, Katie Born, Kaylee Blain, Khushmit Sidhu, Kylie Barber, Leilani Johnson, Lexi Mazzella, Michela Paulsson, Mikayla Hall, Sofia Klama, Sophie Berman and Victoria Maldonado along with their coaches Charles Blain and Brad Daniels.
The Bordentown Jaguars 04 team currently in playing in the SJGSL top flight as well as the Jersey Area Girls Soccer League.
