Hotel Gandharva by Peppermint, Jaipur is proud to receive IGBC Gold rating and 67 points from Indian Green Building Council. The hotel complied with all the IGBC Green standards to make the healthy and fresh environments for all its guests.
The Jaipur-based hotel has been awarded with this rating for implementing complete strategies and solutions in energy efficiency, water conservation, comfort & health, innovation and facility management. On November 2015, Hotel Gandharva Jaipur is redeveloped and opened. It is among the first sustainable hotels in the ?Pink City? Jaipur. In India, it is the first Green New Interiors project. This accomplishment is excellent not just for hotel, but also for the city. The hotel is receiving several requests for tours. The management is looking forward to implement this strategy.
Hotel Gandharva has become the first GOLD RATED hotel in India, with green interiors. Since hotel is certified for eco-friendly interiors, it ensures maximum facilities. Hotel always considers the guest comfort with all the basic and modern facilities and features like flow of fresh air in every room. The spread of disease is controlled in this building and the guests don?t suffer sick building syndrome.
The hotel interior is 30% above the ASHRAV 62.1 standard. The hotel building has used low VOC points to improve the air quality. In Rajasthan, lack of water supply is a major problem. The management has installed low-flow fixtures according to the IGBC norms without affecting guest?s comfort. This way, it ensures less wastage of energy on pumping and the treatment of wastewater and lesser water is consumed. Energy is the huge concern for a commercial facility. The facility has proposed VRV system by considering the YE variable load. It ensures less consumption of energy and reduces operation costs and provides great guest facilities.
