Husien Dohadwalla receives ‘Edupreneur of the year 2017’ award

The award was presented by Assocham India at an event held in Kolkata

Mumbai, July 26, 2017: Husien Dohadwalla, a renowned name in the education industry, has been conferred the ?Edupreneur of the year 2017? by Assocham at an industry event held in Kolkata. Husien Dohadwalla, a national and international educator and a part of the IB Educator Network (IBEN) for the Asia Pacific Region; was felicitated with the award in the presence of a multiple personalities and ministers from the Government of India, in recognition for his immense contribution in the education sector. The award was presented by the Honorable Minister of State for Human Resource Development in Government of India (Higher Education) - Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey.

Assocham (The Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India) established in 1920, is a not for profit organization which works towards creating a conducive environment of India businesses to compete globally. Mr. Dohadwalla was presented the award for his immense contribution to the education industry in the past years. Husien has been a part of the IB Educator Network (IBEN) for the Asia Pacific Region since 2013 and is one of the youngest IB Diploma Heads to have been appointed to this network. He has played a big role in getting Fazlani L?Academie Globale authorized for the IB Diploma Programme in April 2007. Mr. Dohadwalla, who is also the Academic Director and Guidance Counsellor at the DY Patil International School Network, is responsible for middle, secondary and high school (Grades 6 to 12), overseeing over 100 teachers and more than 1000 students.

On winning this award, Mr. Husien Dohadwalla said, ?I?m extremely honoured to be felicitated by an apex institution like Assocham.
