One of the biggest or giant search engine called Google stated that its free web email service i.e. Gmail has join itself in billions of user club. It means, Gmail has millions or billions of users in the worldwide. There is no any other web mail service who compete the Gmail in terms of fan following. This great news was announced by the CEO of Google Mr. Sunder Pichai.
Today the Gmail crossed 1 billions of users it simply means, world?s one-seventh of the population using the Gmail for their daily activity. And why not, they choosing Gmail if it offers many amazing features and service to them. This is a free email service provider and user can easily access the Gmail as secure webmail and through POP3 or IMAP4 protocols. If I say mailing, chatting, video conferencing, taking mail backup, set your signature, set your auto responder, you can schedule your message, you can also schedule your meeting and appointments and many more thing which you can simply perform with Gmail only.
The Google revealed that, Gmail is more resource intensive application as comparison to whatsApp and face book which cross this milestone. It?s not a spoon feeding task but time to time Google update and upgrades the Gmail which attracts the users just like a magnet.
On another hand if we are talking about Face book, it has also 1.44 billions of mobile users and whatsApp is also on the way to connect 1 billion of users to the worldwide. As we know the Gmail was launched in the year of 2004 on April fool?s day, it hard to believe on this but it?s true. First three years it was using just as a simple service but the Google opens the door for Gmail and day by day Gmail increase its amazing features and services which makes Gmail world?s most used wed based email service and it beat out its enemy or rival called Hotmail and Yahoo.
