IAGE Elects its first woman President in 30 years

Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopist (IAGE) is a national organization since 1979 with over 2500 members across India. The vision of IAGE is to serve women by practicing ?Safe Endoscopy? and advanced therapeutic techniques that provide less invasive treatments for gynecological conditions.
IAGE closely works with the Indian Government, Family planning department for the promotion of sterilization.

Dr. Nandita Palshetkar took over from Dr. Rajendra Sankhpal recently in Bengaluru. She will be the first woman president after 30 years of the association.

Commenting on the new initiatives and vision of IAGE, Dr. Nandita Palshetkar said, ?I am deeply honored & privileged to be appointed as the new President for IAGE. IAGE is one of those renowned association where doctors from across the world come to India to learn Endoscopy technology and later use it to help patients across the world.
Endoscopy & Infertility go hand in hand. Endoscopy has a threefold advantage: Treatment for infertility, Improves results of IVF & Test Tube babies and preserves fertility for the future.

IAGE core philosophy is use of technology to improve health care. The world is moving towards Robotics; very soon technology will make this process fully automated.

My vision for IAGE is to work towards bringing technology and quality health care to every woman across the country and increase the amount of members who could become foot soldiers and share their expertise in helping the government with their health care initiatives.
