We are pleased to announce the release of Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services 17.1.0. Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services is one of the widely used and stable export components for SQL Reporting Services for the conversion of .RDL reports to PDF as well as XPS file formats. Recently, Aspose team has received many requests from the customers for the provision of export option to EPUB format. EPUB (short for electronic publication) is a free and open e-book standard from the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF). Files have the extension .epub is now apart from current features of rendering .RDL file to PDF and XPS format, Developers can use the same component to generate the output in EPUB format. The options become available in both ReportServer as well as in Visual Studio when using Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services in local mode. This release includes plenty of new and improved features as listed below

? Export output in EPUB format
? Page orientation is not being honored when exporting .RDL file
? Justify text in local mode with ReportViewer 2010 not working

Overview: Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services

Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services makes it possible generating PDF reports in Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008 Reporting Services. Some advanced features like adding PDF bookmarks, using HTML tags, security constraints, XMP metadata, custom embedded font and rendering watermark for pages are now supported. Also convert all RDL report features including sections, images, charts, tables, matrices, headers and footers to PDF. It also enables you creating Pdf documents on the server without using Adobe PDF Library SDK.
