Biryani by Kilo launches their first outlet in South Delhi

Biryani by Kilo (BBK), a New Delhi based hospitality venture opens its first outlet in South Delhi at Shahpurjat. The brand currently operates three successful kitchens in Gurgaon, Noida and Dwarka. Adding to the portfolio is newest kitchen in Shahpurjat which aims at delivering mouth- watering, authentic and royal food and win the hearts of all food connoisseurs in South Delhi.
The venture is the brainchild of Kaushik Roy, an industry veteran who has worked with the likes of Nirulas to Britannia to SAIF Capital; and Vishal Jindal, Private Equity Fund Carpediem Capital Founder & Ex-Director who has wide experience in scaling different businesses.
This move comes close on the heels of this food-tech Biryani & kebabs startup raising funds from Chandigarh Angels Network , ex-Evalueserve Chief operating officer Ashish Gupta, Rohit Chand & Ashish Chand of Yukti Securities, Sunil Singh of GlobalLogic amongst others.
The firm will use the fresh funds to set up new kitchens in Delhi-NCR and strengthen technology and processes. ?Currently, we have three operational kitchens in this region namely Gurgaon, Noida and Dwarka. South Delhi outlet is already functional since mid March. With the new fund raise, we will set up three more outlets, and a part will also be spent on infrastructure, technology and hiring new talent,? said both Founders.
