Each winter, going on 11 years this winter, Igloofest brings together thousands of electronic music fans to dance under the stars at Montreal?s Old Port. Bringing together icy decor and steel structures, powerful architectural projections, programs featuring the best local and international DJs, its giant playground and it's one-of-a-kind winter wear competition named "Iglooswag", Igloofest is one of the hottest events in the city, at least that?s what MTL said in its daily blog last week. This year for the special 375th edition, Igloofest runs across six week-ends, with 12 regular nights and winter activities celebrating Les Hivernales. The event will take place Thursday to Saturday, on January 12-13-14th, 19-20-21st, 26-27-28th, on February 2-3-4th, as well as on February 11-18th and 19th of 2017.

The band promotion for this years igloofest is exceptional because of the variety of different styles of DJ?S. The Love They Brother artists are two brothers , from Toronto, Canada, they have created a new genre of electronic music and their blend of sounds and styles from the past 50 years mixed together into one continuously evolving machine. There is no nonsense attitude, and stand alone mentality, has helped them craft an intensely personal soundtrack of the past fifty years of music that opens a window into the future of dance music. Continuing along, we have VJ Binocle, which is Marc Olivier Comeau, a canadian artist that trends to his beat. He?s played in various nightclubs in MTL, and covered Igloo fest in 2013 and 2014. Lastly, but not least, VJ homing, better known as Antoine Quirion Couture, is a Montreal artist, who holds a hypnotic, rhythmic tone to his working and completes the requirements for the IGLOOFEST of 2017.
