Intex Adds Air Coolers to its Consumer Durables Offering

Intex Technologies, a leading consumer electronics major, has expanded its consumer durables portfolio with Air Coolers. This comes in less than a quarter of the company foraying into the Refrigerators segment.

Intex introduced five elegant models in 3 segments - Desert (large), Window (medium) and Personal (small) with capacity ranging from 10 liters to 90 liters. The elegant looking Intex Air Coolers are developed with aerodynamically designed fan blades and powerful fan motor with overload protector, to cool all the corners of room up to 50 feet. The overload protector with Fan Motor gives long life to Intex Coolers. The elegant and slim look occupy minimum floor space and gel with room interiors.

?In the last two decades Intex has initiated ground breaking innovations in the consumer durable space. We recently forayed into the refrigerator segment and are already receiving a good response. The ?Desert? range is equipped with aero-dynamic fan blade for a powerful air throw upto 50 feet. The ?Window? range is designed for medium size spaces with strong air throw upto 40 feet. It is also portable with the use of a sturdy Intex Trolley. The ?Personal? cooler will be compact and ideal for small spaces like kitchens, small work spaces, Puja Room and Children Room. All these air coolers come with efficient pumps and motors that consumes less power as the cooler can run for as low as Re 1 per hour without compromising on air delivery and cooling effect. The product is also adaptable and runs on inverters as well, giving consumers a respite from the summer heat. Features like a strong motor, corrosion resistant body and features like ice chamber, auto drain, make air-coolers a must for house or office in summers.

As part of expansion of the Consumer Durable portfolio, since last year, Intex has added refrigerators to its portfolio, enhanced its LED TV range with Smart LED TVs including 4K TVs, washing machines with fully-automatic models and introduced new products like Air-Purifiers and Currency Counting Machines.
