Who is Frank Squeo?

Frank Squeo of Valley Cottage lives a life of inspiration, dedication and gratitude. In 2007 Frank?s life dramatically changed when he was hiking the exquisite Red Rock Mountains in Sedona, Arizona with a friend and noticed an unusual bump on his neck. Doctors discovered that Frank had stage III testicular cancer that was days away from entering his brain. Frank underwent surgery and months of chemotherapy treatment. With the help of great doctors and the loving support of family and friends he survived and today is cancer free. Frank?s personal journey brought a new sense of awareness to his life. He realized that there are many children suffering from terminal illnesses that would not be lucky enough to have the same prognosis as he. He knew he had to do everything in his power to make a difference in their lives. Frank runs a successful pool care business.During the holiday season, he gives out his homemade chocolate chip cookies to his customers. That?s how the idea to bake cookies for a special cause dawned on him.

Squeo?s ?Baking Memories 4 Kids?- Helping children with life threatening illnesses
Frank and his cousin started the nonprofit organization, ?Baking Memories 4 Kids?. This is a charitable organization which bakes holiday cookies using Frank?s homemade recipe.The proceeds from the sales are used to send children with life threatening and terminal diseases and their families to Florida amusement parks for an entire week. This operation is dependent on the assistance of over 600 volunteers who help by baking cookies at the Rockland BOCES Facility in West Nyack. To date, Baking Memories 4 Kids has baked over 600,000 cookies and by the end of 2016 will have sent 40 children and their families on vacations of a lifetime. Frank took a difficult experience in his life and used it to make a positive impact on others.

Frank?s generosity of heart gives these young children and their families the opportunity to create everlasting memories. They celebrate joy and happiness through the experience that Baking Memories 4 Kids lovingly provides them.
