This new department designated as ?cut-to-size? shall provide specialized sawing of irregular shapes and sizes for its customers. This greatly increases the capabilities of the company, improving the diversity of sizes and shapes offered as well as providing many benefits for customers since it shall offer the tightest tolerances in the market and the fastest lead times.

The current plans for the cut-to-size department are to offer pre-shaped blocks, odd shapes, circles, rings, squares, rectangles and any other custom requests. Our nesting capabilities allows for many shapes to fit within one another maximizing the use of the material and thus reducing costs to the customer. Receiving the shapes closer to or exactly in the shape desired for finishing reduces the amount of aluminum scrap wasted and saves on machining costs for 3rd teir transformers or consumers. Machining centers will,in turn, be able to sell more machining time due to the improved efficiency.
