Dr . Ajeenkya Patil urges students to support demonetisation

The first Convocation ceremony of the Dr. Ajeenkya Patil University was a grand event with Pratap G Pawar, chairman of the Sakaal Group as Chief Guest and Dr. David G. Pollard, High commissioner of Guyana in India as the Guest of honour.
While congratulating the students on their spectacular effort and so also calling them the 'Brand Ambassadors' of the University; Dr. Ajeenkya D. Y . Patil urged the students to embrace the digital push and the demonetisation effort of the government with open arms to usher in an era of transparency and complete accountability . He also promised the students that the Ajeenkya D Y Patil University would be amongst the leading universities of the world in the years to come . An emotionally charged Ajeenkya ,further expressed sincere gratitude to the first batch of students of the University .
David Pollard laid strong emphasis on learning and knowledge being real and in keeping with the rapidly changing environment. Pratap G Pawar further inspired the students by stating that to ensure long term success , one has to be a student for life . He further added that knowledge is the biggest asset and team work makes all the difference.
