Astec INC in Mumbai has recently launched 2250 grade Duplex Steel sheets, Coils and Plates which is most commonly used Duplex Steel 2205 grade used in processing equipment, Oil and gas exploration, Transport, storage and chemical processing, High chloride and marine environments and also used in many other Industrial works. This Grade of Duplex Steel has greater Properties, tougher and harder, having lattice use in making of high Oil and Gas Containers and etc.

The Company also has more operative and well developed grades of Duplex Steel with different categories with high and Low steel. These grades of Duplex Steel are considered high corrosion resistance and have many properties than other of carbon steel and Stainless steel.

The Company Provides wide range of Duplex Steel in varied Grades, which provides great excellence corrosion resistance. 2250 Duplex steel are generally made up of mixed mixture of both authentic and ferrite, there are mixed in the proportion of 50/50. However in profitable alloys steel are mixed in the proportion of 40/60, but it may vary. Duplex Steel has 2 times greater strength of resistance as compared to other authentic stainless steel and also helps in Improving resistance mainly to fight against corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Duplex steel 2205 grade are comprises of high chromium 19 to 32% and molybdenum up to 5%. They have lower nickel content compared austenitic stainless steels. They are mostly cost effective due to lower alloy gratified than similar performing austenitic steels.
