Seminar on “Shaping Destiny” at St. Theresa Convent Senior Secondary School, Karnal, Haryana by FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre

Karnal, Haryana : St. Theresa Convent Senior Secondary School, Karnal, Haryana organized career development workshop for the students of Class VIII, IX & X.

The theme of the event was ?Shaping Destiny?. Experts from FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh (Delhi) Centre were invited to address the students. This 75 minutes session was attended by more than 600 students. The session stressed upon the fundamental aspect of any successful career, that is ?an early beginning?. Super Achievers from all walks of life that we see around us have one common trait ie they all began their career journey quite early in their life.

Speaking at the event Mr. Datta, CEO of FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre said ?Setting a GOAL is the single most important aspect in one?s career.? Drawing analogy from app based maps he went on to say, ?we need to define our destination in an app based map to figure out probable routes similarly to be able to figure out career road map one must set their destination in the form of GOAL. Rest things will automatically follow.?

The session also covered the essence of preparing an action plan in line with set goal and the importance of milestone required during such career journey which enables an individual to constantly monitor their direction and pace of journey. In a student?s life these are essentially competitive exams conducted for students Class VIII to XII. The most important ones are : Aryabhatta, Green Olympiad, Junior Science Olympiad, Junior Science Talent Search Examination, National Talent Search Examination, Mathematical Olympaid, Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana & Senior Science Olympiad in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Astronomy. Class XII board exam is an important milestone in a student?s career and should be given due weightage.

The session ended with some interesting questions on Maths that requires application of logic, IQ & analytical thinking ability apart from learned concepts. The students realized the importance of Logic development and how the trickiest of questions could be easily solved. One of the student said, ?it was an interesting session wherein we got to know how we should plan and engage in studies in order to be successful.?

At the end students asked questions to FIITJEE experts about various career options and how they should begin their journey.
