Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan Promoted At A Navaratri Pandal In Mumbai On The Occasion Of Gandhi Jayanti

2nd October 2016; MUMBAI: The country swayed in the Navaratri celebrations on 1st October 2016 which will continue till 11th October 2016. Marking as a successful debut season, Navraag 2016, saw participation from over 8000 people on the very first day of Navaratri. Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi kicked-off the Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan on the day of Gandhi Jayanti. The campaign aims at making India clean and is receiving overwhelming responses from all sectors and active participation from the citizens of India.
At Chitrakoot grounds in Andheri, the organisers of Navraag 2016 designed a theme dedicated towards the patriotic spirit of Indians and promoted the message of Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan. With a huge participation from Mumbaikars at Navraag 2016, this 11 day extravaganza promises to deliver the most authentic experience to the citizens of Mumbai. Dandiya King Naitik Nagda has composed some of the most exclusive tracks that can be enjoyed by the youth and the senior citizens alike. ?We feel that it is important for every citizen to be an active part in making the Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan a grand success. Today, we have taken a small step towards it by creating awareness around the importance of this campaign.? says Mr. Aman Jhunjhunwala, CEO of Firegaze Event and Entertainment Pvt Ltd who are the organisers of Navraag 2016.
There are a number of unique facilities that will be provided to the visitors of Navraag 2016. The entire venue will have access to free wifi so as to upload live pictures and videos for the people celebrating Navraag 2016. Comfort of senior citizens is important and for that a separate seating area has been designed and entire ground will have a wooden flooring. In addition to the unique cultural aarti and a costume rental service for photobooth, people will also get to enjoy the Calcutta Chat and Multi-cuisine food stalls. Safety and security has been given top priority and the entire venue will be under CCTV surveillance with over 150 professional security guards stationed at strategic locations in Chitrakoot grounds. A medical ambulance and a fire safety brigade is also stationed outside the venue in case of any emergencies.
Performances are lined up from well-known artists like MTV Rock On winner Naitik Nagda, Manish Joshi, Umesh Barot, Arpita Thakkar, Pomal Shah, Ashita Dedia among many others. Percussionist Naitik Nagda will be one of the star attractions of Navraag 2016. His music has always attracted the youth and he remains one of the few artist who can probably play most of the percussion instruments and the only artist who gives a 360 degree wheel drum performance. Manish Joshi is another prolific Bollywood singer who will enthrall the audience with his firm grip on music. The gem from Gujarat, Umesh Barot will be the one who will give the traditional and cultural essence with his rooted singing to the audience attending Navraag 2016. Arpita Thakkar, with an experience of over 15 years and after having performed across the globe, this expressive singer will spread the magic of her music at Navraag 2016. The Navaratri queens, Pomal Shah and Ashita Dedhia will complete the team of Navraag 2016 with power packed performances which are Western yet Indian in their own way.
