CII Launches the 3rd Edition of NextGen Healthcare Conclave

New Delhi, July 28th: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is hosting its third edition of the conclave on ?NextGen Healthcare 2016?. The event, on Friday, 29 July, 2016 at Hotel Taj Mahal, New Delhi, will see industry leaders speak on important matters of healthcare.
By raising the question Universal Healthcare: A distant Dream or a Near Reality?, Dr Dinesh Batra, Co-Chairman, 3rd edition of NextGen Healthcare Conclave 2016; Co-Convenor, Services Panel, CII Haryana State Council and Director and Group CEO Cygnus Hospitals will inaugurate the conclave. The address would primarily focus on the accessibility and affordability of healthcare services in India.
The event will witness an ensemble of eminent doctors such as Dr Dharminder Nagar; Managing Director of Paras Healthcare; Dr Nandakumar Jairam, Chairman & Group Medical Director of Columbia Asia Hospitals; Dr Zainab Zaidi, Director , Healthcare Sector Skill Council ? UP State; Dr Vijay Garg, Director Health Services ? Malaria, Government of Haryana; Dr Poonam Narang, Director Professor of Radiology, Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital, and Ms Ameera Shah, Managing Director & CEO, Metropolis Healthcare Ltd, among others, in the presence of Chief Guest Dr Rajiv Chawla, Director, Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital.
The conclave will focus on identifying the various sustainable financing models including innovative PPP strategies, measures to make healthcare affordable and accessible in future, challenges in implementing various financing models and solutions to overcome them, the role of technology in increasing affordability, and various steps to expand insurance coverage and reduce out-of-pocket expenses.
