Geologic research of the area has indicated that proximal rhyolitic flows and tuffs surrounding the basin could be a potential source for the possibility of saturated lithium brine. Basin source rocks include rhyolite tuff, flows and volcanic sediments.

It's valued highly prospective that Zorras Prospection and Exploitation Site is located within a geothermal cluster, at a basin low setting.

A gravity low shows a deep basin, whereas regional geophysical signatures in the area reflect similar anomalies comparative to that of the ones that has successfully defined one of the largest lithium resources next to North America's only producing lithium mine.
